Bilberry is a member of the Blueberry, Grape and Blackberry family and grows in abundance throughout temperate regions of the world.
Bilberries contain naturally high levels of a flavenoid known as Anthocyanidin.
Anthocyanidin helps the flow of blood / nutrients to the eyes and is crucial for lowering the risk of many diseases associated with the eyes. It is also believed to help regenerate Rhodospin, the purple pigment in the retina, for clearer night vision.
Bilberry extract is also known to aid in the balancing of blood sugar levels, making it a beneficial supplement for diabetics.

Pine Bark extract contains proanthrocyanidins which are known to help support blood flow and reduce inflammation.
